According to FcInterNews.it, Shakhtar Donetsk, trained by Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi, have just submitted Inter Milan a 6 million euros opening bid on 19-year old Italian U21 international centre-back Lorenzo Pirola.

The 2002-born, who turned 19 last February 20, used to play for second-tier Monza, where he fought his way to bump-up promotion (though not achieving it, eventually), throughout latest season. While Neroazzurri boss, Simone Inzaghi, might end up providing him the chance to shine and be part of his first-team masterplan, Inter backline wonderkid might be headed for a loan move out again.

Currently on a deal with Neroazzurri until June 2025, Pirola has recently been approached by Schalke 04, as well as having been linked to Eintracht Frankfurt, ahead of the chance for a swap deal involving Filip Kostic.
