Nigerian international Sebastian Osigwe took to social media to express delight after he helped Lugano to secure a 2-2 away draw against Zürich.

The 26-year-old Super Eagles prospect was handed his debut last week by manager Maurizio Jacobacci and he delivered as he inspired his new side to a 2-1 victory against Luzern.

“Important point earned in a tough game. We fought to the end even with a man down! Unto the next one,” Sebastian tweeted.

Alexander Gerndt gave Lugano the lead but Zürich hit back just before half-time courtesy Lasse Sobiech. The pulsating encounter saw Lugano’s Jonathan Sabbatini receive red after two yellow cards.

Antonio Marchesano took advantage of the one man advantage as he scored Zürich’s second goal but Stefano Guidotti denied them victory as he netted a late equalizer to end the match 2-2.

Lugano are currently placed third with four points while Zürich sit sixth with just a point after two matches in the 2020/2021 season.
