Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze put up a spirited performance as AC Milan secured a nervy away 0-1 victory at Hellas Verona to further strengthen their position on the Serie A log, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
This was at the back of a heavy criticism from club legend, Fabio Capello who questioned the club's motive behind his acquisition from Villareal after falling to make impact at the beginning of the season despite having a good run in pre-season.
Despite the winner coming from Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, the former Villareal man showed glimpses of pace and dribbling abilities which he's obviously known for and was a thorn in the flesh of Verona's defenders although unlucky to get on the score-sheet.
Chukwueze would be hoping to continue his run of games although there's a possibility of a summer departure within the right premises on the path of both parties.
