Sampdoria ace Alfred Duncan has sent a congratulatory message to compatriot Kwadwo Asamoah after Juventus reached the UEFA Champions League final.
Asamoah missed the Old Lady’s 1-1 draw at Real Madrid which earned them a 3-2 aggregate victory in their semi-final clash due to injury.
The versatile midfielder has been sidelined since November last year when he underwent surgery on his knee.
Although Asamoah was not registered for the competition, Duncan is happy for his countryman.
“I know Kwadwo Asamoah very well and we even spoke on phone (a few) days back and I am very happy for him,” the 21-year-old told Citi FM.
“I hope to be there on 6th June to watch the Champions League final in Berlin.
“I just wish him the best of luck and I hope he comes home with the trophy.”
