Southampton Manager Claude Puel believes his Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster could become Sam Allardyce's England number one with Joe Hart seemingly set for a Manchester City exit.
"?Quoted in the Daily Star, the Frenchman insisted that Forster has everything needed to take over the mantle as the Three Lions' shot stopper after impressing his new boss during the early stages of his time in charge on the south coast."?
Meanwhile Hart has yet to feature in the Premier League under new manager Pep Guardiola with Willy Cabellero, last season's back up keeper, preferred in the net.
Despite making his competitive bow for the season in City's seemingly redundant Champions League qualifier on Wednesday with Guardiola's side 5-0 to the good after the first leg, his future at the club appears to be coming to an end.
Despite returning to the starting eleven, Hart's role at City appears to have unceremoniously ended following the arrival of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona later in the week.
With Guardiola preferring a ball playing goalkeeper, something that Joe Hart is not, Southampton boss Puel believes his goalkeeper is perfectly placed to heap more misery on his compatriot.

Speaking ahead of his side's clash with Sunderland on Saturday, where Forster will be looking for his first clean sheet of the season, Puel explained the attributes his number one possesses.
"For me Fraser is a very good goalkeeper with experience, maturity and all the qualities to help us and challenge for the national team.
"I don't comment want to comment about Hart, but I would stay with my goalkeeper," he added.
With the Saints looking to better their 6th place of last season along with a Europa League campaign, Puel believes there is no reason Forster cannot become Allardyce's main man between the sticks.
"I am happy with Fraser and I hope for the future he has the possibility to make good games for the national team."?
