The Nigeria Super Eagles have been hit with another injury issue following the report of Sadiq Umar's injury on Thursday, just 3 days to the start of the African Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Real Sociedad striker is reported to have suffered a knee injury when the team played Guinea in a pre-AFCON warm up match in Abu Dhabi.
Umar will now return to Spain to continue treatment for an injury that may keep out for 3 or more weeks.
Meanwhile, a late call up has been extended to Paul Onuachu to replace Sadiq Umar who was eft out of training session on Thursday.
