Nigerian striker, Umar Sadiq has expressed his dissatisfaction with his limited playing time in Real Sociedad, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 27-year-old Nigeria international joined Real Sociedad from Almeria in 2022, scoring on his debut, but his progress was hindered by a cruciate ligament injury that ruled him out for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
Sadiq returned to action at the start of last season, managing three goals and one assist in 26 league appearances, but most of those appearances came as a substitute.
This season, Sadiq has made just six league appearances for Sociedad, leading to growing frustration with his status at the club.
"I just need continuity and that does not depend on me," Sadiq told eldesmarque.
"I'm training well, I'm more than a professional now and that other part doesn't depend on me.
"The only thing I can do is keep pushing and keep training hard and, when I have continuity, it will be time to prove it."
