Nigeria youngster Iwobi penned a £25,000-a-week deal in April but will have his terms improved further on the back of his impressive start to the 2016-17 campaign.
Iwobi will earn double his current salary and the Gunners are also looking to tie down right-back Hector Bellerin amid interest from Barcelona and Manchester City.
