Nigeria International Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina has suggested he is open to a move away from Torino this summer with just a year left on his contract.

The versatile Defender joined Torino from 20/21 Champions League Winners, Chelsea in 2019 and quickly became a regular first team player.

Unfortunately, in the just concluded season, the English born Nigerian wingback became a bit part player after an initial loan away from Torino to Fulham last season. In January, he left again but on International duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, but so did his game time as the former Hull City player featured less on the pitch. Speaking with FL on the trajectory of his last season, the 25 year-old acknowledged the challenges.

“I think my season started well; because I was playing all the time and starting all the time. And then after January, as every one knows, the game time wasn’t there as much, so, it was a little bit up and down. I think I finished the season very strong, as always I’m happy,” he said.

When asked if he would consider a move from the Club though, Olaoluwa Aina said, “We’ll have to see what happens over the summer, I’m not sure.

“Only one year left there, I’m not sure what will happen.”
