Rumor Mills: Moses Simon on Paris FC radar

Published on: 16 June 2025

Moses Simon could potentially bring an end to his illustrious six-year spell with FC Nantes, with newly promoted Ligue 1 rival Paris FC willing to bring in the experienced winger in a bid to keep their top-flight status and challenge for trophies next season, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

They have reportedly submitted a €5m bid for the Nigerian international, which has been rebuffed by Nantes despite the player making his feelings of exploring another environment known.

Since arriving at Nantes in 2020, Simon has been a consistently standout performer, though a high-profile transfer has so far eluded him despite his impressive contributions. In the most recent Ligue 1 campaign, he played a crucial role in helping Les Canaris secure their top-flight survival, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists—numbers that highlight his impact and suggest he's long overdue for a move to a bigger stage.

With his current contract set to expire next season, it's obvious that he won't be penning a new deal, and as such, Nantes would be forced to sell or they risk losing him on a free transfer.
