Bayern Munich supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hopes one of the club’s players will win the Ballon d’Or in 2026.
Several Bayern players are among the candidates for this year’s award, including Harry Kane and Michael Olise.
Rummenigge won the Ballon d’Or in 1980 and 1981, but no Bayern Munich player has claimed the prize since then. The award ceremony will take place on 26 October.
