Roma were held to a 2-2 draw by Inter after surrendering a two-goal advantage in the fifth round of the Italian championship.
The home side made the stronger start and took the lead after six minutes. Manu Kone finished from Nahuel Molina’s pass to put Roma ahead.
Kone struck again before half-time to complete his double and give Roma a 2-0 advantage at the interval.
Inter responded after the 15-minute break and reduced the deficit. Lautaro Martinez then scored the visitors’ second goal in the 79th minute to level the match at 2-2.
Roma remain top of Serie A with 13 points. Inter also have 13 points and sit second in the table.
