Benin Republic head coach, Gernot Rohr has acknowledged that repeating his team's 2-1 win over Nigeria will be a challenging task, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Cheetahs stunned the Super Eagles in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in June, but Rohr expects a stronger Nigerian side this time.
"Repeating the feat of June is going to be complicated," Rohr told Foot Africa. "Nigeria is now at full strength."
Despite the odds, Rohr remains optimistic: "But we believe in it."
Benin Republic needs another win over Nigeria to boost their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification hopes.
The two teams meet at Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Thursday (20:00 Nigerian time).
