Rivers United edge Tornadoes as Remo Stars falter once again away from home

NPFL side, Rivers United closed gap on top place Remo Stars with a slim over Niger Tornadoes after Remo Stars loss to Bendel Insurance in the match day 28 fixtures played on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Pride of Rivers kept a third consecutive clean sheets to beat Niger Tornadoes 1-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
