Ghana forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom came off the Atalanta bench to score a late consolation goal for them in their 3-2 loss against Fiorentina in the Italian Serie A on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old was introduced as an 80th minute substitute for Argentine attacker Dario Gómez and three minutes later Boakye levelled the scoring for Atalanta at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Firenze.
However, the goal could not last as Fiorentina claimed a 89th minute winner with Manuel Pasqual scoring a crucial goal.
This is Boakye's third goal in the Serie A this season since he joined Atalanta on loan from title-holders Juventus.
Sunday's game was his 14th Atalanta appearance of the season.
