Richard Kingson better than 'panicking' Razak Brimah, Attram backs veteran to stage Black Stars return
Richard Kingson has been in top shape

Ex-Ghana midfielder Godwin Attram claims veteran goalkeeper Richard Kingson is streets ahead of 'panicking' Razak Brimah, predicting the experienced shot-stopper can solve the goalkeeping crisis in the Black Stars.

Attram, the current Great Olympics skipper, has been wowed by the outstanding performance of his teammate.

The West Africans have struggled to find the safest pair of hands since Kingson was frozen out of the team with Razak Brimah, Fatau Dauda, Ernest Sowah, Daniel Agyei all failing to step into the plate.

Portland Timbers new recruit Adam Kwarasey came close to cementing the role but has decided against representing the nation over internal issues with the team’s goalkeepers’ trainer.

Kingson, 36, has kept a clean sheet in the last three Premier League games for the Wonder club to re-ignite talks about his recall into the team and Kingson feels he is the right man to solve the problem in post.

“Kingson can solve the Black Stars goalkeeping problems. There is no doubt about that. Keeping the post is about experience. Even if you are 50 you can still be a goalkeeper,” Attram told Goal.

“Goalkeepers are not like we midfielders, defenders and attackers who roam about on the field. Basically, goalkeepers reserve lots of energy and their experience also counts. Kingson can be useful again for Ghana if he is called up.

“We have to change the mentality of our league. Ghana football has to improve and I will entreat other footballers who are reaching the twilight of their career in Europe and elsewhere to come and play in the Ghana Premier League.”

Kwarasey passed a daming verdict of Black Stars goalkeepers’ trainer Nassam Yakubu in the wake of the infamous 2014 World Cup disaster, accusing him of lacking the requisite quality to propel the team.

how are his reflexes? He would perform wonders in the local league for his age but we are all witnesses to what happened to the shot stopper at Blackpool & the 2010 World Cup. We all admire Olele but for the black stars, l strongly believe his days are over.

Grandpa Olele should find a place and sleep. We already have JKwarasey, just that those baboons gfa bastards are mistreating him. Dude is really good when he's on his peak. Abeg even if Kwarasey blunders 20x, we should still let him keep for he's the best stopper we've got. We should build some confidence in him. As for juju dauda.... hhhhmm Bless

yes, he was good but no more. Poor reflexes. He should ply his trade in the local league as he has rightly done. Oly Dade for Olele all the way.

look at plebes picture. He is older than Buffon. No reflexes, can't jump. Solution might be with STEPHEN Adams of Aduana stars. BRAIMAH is just not good

So are we using the three clean sheets kept by Olele to mean that he is back to top form and so should be included in the foreign-based Black Stars? I think he should first be invited to the local Black Stars for the CHAN qualifiers and not the main Black Stars. The fact that Olele has kept three clean sheets does not mean he is back to his former best. It is because the strikers in the First capital Premier league are very poor in shooting. For example, look at what Kotoko strikers, especially Ata Kusi were doing in front of Olympics’ goal. they could not shoot. Can Olele still prevent Senegalese, Algerian, Congolese, Malian, Tunisian, Moroccan, German, English, Uruguayan, Brazilian, etc strikers from scoring against him at this stage of his career?

Brimah aint the answer just get the goal keepers trainer out of the way for kwaresey to return and Adams as the number two. Dauda just as Brimah low class to be in our goals. Duada club-less cant be called up period...no favoritism.
