Renowned horse placenta healer Marijana Kovacevic is part of Ghana’s medical team at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Belgrade housewife, who has treated English Premier League stars such as Frank Lampard, Robin van Persie and Glen Johnson, has been enlisted to help the medical team.
But Kovacevic has kept a low profile since joining the team for their pre-season in Spain but has kept a low profile.
According to a Graphic Sports report, she was spotted in camp when the Black Stars were relocating from Mongomo to Malabi for their quarterfinal clash.
Her presence should speed up the recovery of injured Daniel Amartey who has a groin problem.
The centre-back felt a tear in his groin was stretchered off the pitch midway through the last Tuesday’s final Group C match against South Africa.
He was later carried into the team bus and later sent to the hospital for further treatment and an Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan.
Her horse placenta treatment heals injured players quicker than stipulated time.
The Ghana FA first engaged Kavacevic during the 2010 World Cup under the recommendations of then-coach Milovan Rajevac.
She was with the team at the 2012 Nations Cup and also at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
