American side Chicago Fire have announced that their winger David Accam has been called up by Ghana for next month's friendlies against Canada and Peru.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is yet to reveal its final list for the friendly against Canada scheduled for Washington on 13 October.
But the MLS club says they have received an invitation from the GFA inviting the winger to the national team for international duty.
Accam will join Avram Grant’s side in Washington, D.C. for two international friendlies against Peru on Oct. 9 and Canada on Oct. 13.
Accam most recently joined The Black Stars for their 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda on Sept. 5.
A native of Accra, Accam has one goal in four appearances for his country.
