Former Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly offered to Barcelona in the current transfer window, according to Cat Radio. The club, on the other hand, swiftly ruled out signing the Portuguese international.

The world was taken aback by Ronaldo's abrupt rupture with Juventus and decision to leave the club. In three seasons in Italy, he won the Serie A twice but suffered consecutive Champions League knockouts.

PSG and, as of now, Barcelona were among the teams who were offered the Portuguese international's signature.

If the deal had gone through, the attacker would have joined the likes of Luis Enrique, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Luis Figo in an exclusive club of players who have represented both Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Despite this, according to the report, Barcelona rejected the striker's signing without hesitation, owing to budgetary difficulties.
