After a disappointing defeat to AS FAR, Remo Stars FC captain, Nduka Junior has reacted to his team's loss in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round on Sunday.
The Nigeria team from Ogun State had gotten a one all draw in Morocco, but fell one nil at home to crash out 1-2 on aggregate in their maiden participation of the competition.
Team captain, Junior spoke of the loss, explaining that they played a more experienced team.
"We played a team that is very experienced, it's just our first time and we gave our best, we will switch focus to the league now and we hope to be back on this big stage again"
The Sky Blue team had qualified for the continental competition after finishing third in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
