The Belgium goalkeeper, 34, missed last weekend’s El Clasico against Barcelona after falling ill with flu. He is now in contention to play in the 11th round of the Spanish league.
Real Madrid won 2-1 away against Barcelona, with Ukraine goalkeeper Andriy Lunin starting in place of Courtois.
The match between Racing and Real Madrid will take place on Sunday, 1 November.
