RB Leipzig produced the biggest result of the fifth round of the German championship by beating Eintracht 6-0.
The emphatic victory may have been particularly satisfying for long-standing supporters of Dynamo Moscow, who still remember their side’s 0-6 defeat by the same Eintracht in 1993.
Christopher Nkunku scored three of Leipzig’s goals, completing his first hat-trick in the Bundesliga. The forward had previously played in Germany, but had never scored three times in a single league match.
Nkunku joined RB Leipzig after an unsuccessful season with Italian club Milan. His contribution helped Leipzig move up to fifth place in the German championship table.
