Ahead of the La Liga matchday 34 clash between Rayo Vallecano and Getafe CF, head coach of the host team Íñigo Pérez is looking to exploit Chrisantus Uche's absence as they host the Geta Azulones later tonight, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Placed 11th and 12th, Rayo Vallecano on 41 points have a two point gap to Getafe who are on 39 points with the same numbers of match played ahead of the game tonight at the Estadio de Vallecas stadium.
"Well, the influence of a player's absence always has to be taken into account, even more so in a player like Uche, who we've seen throughout the season at Getafe, his influence can be, it's palpable, it's visible and anyone who watches Getafe realises how important he is to their coach and their team", Perez stated while assessing the opponent in his pre-match pressers as quoted by futbolfantasy,
"So, it's an absence that they'll surely make up for with another top-level player, because that's what their squad says. It affects us in a way, because those characteristics, that trait, are irreplaceable, each one is different from the other, but another player will come in who we'll surely have to take into account and adapt to that profile."
Uche who has eight goals contribution for Getafe this season is currently out serving a ban after the red card in the nervy game at Barcelona against Espanyol.
