Barcelona forward Raphinha will miss Brazil’s final match of the current international camp after suffering a muscle problem.
The 29-year-old was substituted at half-time during Brazil’s recent friendly against Australia. Globo reports that medical examinations found no serious injury, although swelling has not yet fully subsided.
Brazil’s coaching staff have decided not to risk an important player in the team’s final fixture of the camp against India on Saturday, 3 October.
Raphinha will leave the Brazil squad early and return to Barcelona.
