Raphinha is a doubt for Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Getafe after suffering discomfort in his thigh during the international break.
The Brazil international was substituted during a match for Brazil and returned to Barcelona before the end of the international period because of the problem.
According to Spanish publication Sport, Raphinha is unlikely to be fit enough to play when Barcelona host Getafe at Camp Nou on Saturday, 10 October.
The news will disappoint Barcelona supporters, who have been waiting to see their team return to action. Barcelona have made a perfect start to the championship, winning all seven of their matches so far.
Raphinha has played a central role in that run, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in those seven games.
