QPR Striker Sebastian Polter Returns to Former Club FC Union Berlin in Permanent Deal

"?QPR striker Sebastian Polter has rejoined former club FC Union Berlin, the German club have confirmed.


Polter, 25, spent a season on loan at the 2. Bundesliga club during the 2014/15 campaign, scoring 14 league goals in 29 appearances. He joined QPR in 2015, and managed 10 strikes in 51 games for the Hoops.

"With Sebastian Polter, a player returns to Union, which has left a very positive and lasting impression in a relatively short time," Berlin head coach Helmut Schulte told the "?club's official website.


"Of course with his 14 hits in one season, but above all also with his appearance as a professional and his way as a man. 


"These qualities are of great value to our team, who want to achieve great goals. We are very pleased to have Sebastian back in our ranks."

"I am very pleased to be a part of the Union family and Köpenicker again and I will tear myself up to be successful with the team," Polter said.


Polter has signed a contract with the club until mid-2020, and will join his new teammates for training on Wednesday.
