Kotoko operations manager George Kennedy is under mounting pressure to resign for his poor work ethics, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Kennedy has been accused of his poor handling of duties, leading to the deduction of six points for fielding an unqualified player during their league match.

He has been singled out for criticism with claims he lacks the requisite knowledge and technical know-how in the discharge of his duties.

Kotoko has become a laughing stock in the West African country after their arch-rivals again squeezed boardroom points despite losing their last encounter 2-1 in the capital.

The disciplinary committee ruling has again amplified the ‘school-boy’ management of the current administration with General Manager Opoku Nti and his lieutenants coming under fire.

But the club’s supporters have pointed accusing fingers at the team’s operations manager, accusing him of ‘milking’ the Ghanaian giants.

Recently the leadership of the Western Regional supporters’ wing threatened to deal ruthlessly with top officials of the club amid claims of gross incompetence and lack of professionalism.

The region’s Circles Council vice chairman Stephen Marfo accused him of making financial gains at the expense of the club during their FA Cup defeat to Medeama on August 30.

The Porcupine Warriors are awaiting the final determination of the verdict after filing for an appeal in the brewing eligibility crisis.
