Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Patrice Motsepe is set to visit Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda this week, as the three nations prepare to host the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Motsepe's tour begins in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, today, followed by visits to Nairobi, Kenya, and Kampala, Uganda, on Friday.
During his trip, he will meet with government officials, football leaders, and local organising committees to assess the host nations' readiness for the competition.
The CAF president's schedule includes inspections of stadiums and training facilities currently undergoing renovations.

This visit follows CAF's second inspection visit in November, where a delegation evaluated stadiums, training sites, hotels, airports, and other logistics in the host nations.
By visiting the host countries, Motsepe aims to ensure their preparedness to deliver a successful CHAN 2024 tournament.
The championship is scheduled to take place in February 2025.
