President Federation Cup: Kano Pillars, Abia Warriors reach semi final

Two top teams in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) have reached the President Federation Cup semi finals today after the duo in Kano Pillars, Abia Warriors bullied their ways past the round 16 games which took place today, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Sunshine Stars fell to a resilient Kano Pillars side, going headlong against each other in one of the quarter-final duels scheduled for the Federal Capital, Abuja on Wednesday at the Area 3 Stadium.

Abia Warriors were up against giant-killers Sokoto United at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project field inside the MKO Abiola National Stadium Complex. Sokoto United eliminated two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba FC in the Round of 16  but have now been eliminated themselves.

El-Kanemi Warriors (Borno) 2-1 Inter Lagos (Lagos)
