According to Sport, 30-year old Danish international striker Martin Braithwaite, on his way out from Barcelona FC, after a year and a half in, is getting closer and closer to join Wolverhampton for good. To this end, Wolves are allegedly in advanced talks with Spanish giants over a 15 million euros' worth trade.
Signed by Blaugrana back in February 2020, as an emergency trade, from Leganés, former Girondins de Bordeaux forward used to play in English football back in 2017/18 and 2018/19 first half-seasons, hailing from Middlesbrough ranks back then. Still on a deal with La Liga giants until June 2024, Braithwaite is meanwhile tracked by a bunch more clubs, including Brighton&Hove Albion, Burnley, Norwich City, Valencia, and Fenerbahçe.
