As reported by transfer market expert Gianluca di Marzio, Watford have finally found their midfielder. In fact, the club seems to be nearing a deal with Parma for Juraj Kucka. The veteran midfielder went through the ordeal of releagation last season, but will now have a chance to stay in top-tier football with the Premier League club.
Watford's owners, the Pozzo family, are always on the alert for these kinds of deals from Serie A, so much so that they were trying to sign Sampdoria's Morten Thorsby before they decided to land Kucka. According to Di Marzio, contract details will be resolved in the next few days, but there should be no problems, and we'll finally see the midfielder in the Premier League.
Kucka appeared in 72 matches for Parma since 2019, scoring 17 goals in the process. He also played for Genoa, Milan and Turkish club Trabzonspor.
