In a post that appeared on the player's official Instagram account, Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has confirmed he has tested positive for COVID.
"Hi all, unfortunately I tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. Thankfully I'm fully vaccinated and have no symptoms so far. Can't wait to get back in action! Thank you for your support" the player wrote in an Instagram stories.
Depending on when he will receive a negative test, it is unclear yet when he will be able to come back to the pitch, but it is likely that the Pennsylvania-born striker will be out of action for at least a couple of weeks. That is unfortunate for both Chelsea and the United States Men's National Team, as Pulisic had a promising start to this season, having had good performances in both the European Super Cup and Premier League.
