From Mirror, as Liverpool's talisman and main goal-getter, the Anfield faithful harbour some anxiety over whether Mohamed Salah will pen a new deal to stay at the club. Recent speculation has suggested the Egyptian could favour a move to one of the two La Liga giants in Barcelona or Real Madrid despite the pair's perilous financial situation.

However, according to the Sunday World, the Liverpool hierarchy are growing in confidence that Salah will extend his stay in Merseyside, with an announcement expected imminently. The news comes just a day after Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa took to social media to post a cryptic message that read: "I hope they’re watching."

After recent speculation suggested Jordan Henderson could be nearing the Anfield exit, The Athletic claim that the midfielder is on the verge of signing a new long-term contract with Liverpool. The contract would mean Henderson's stint at Liverpool goes beyond a decade, after he first arrived at the club from Sunderland in 2011 in a move that cost the Reds £16m.
