In a press conference before their clash with Villareal in a friendly, Chelsea skipper Thomas Tuchel was asked about Tammy Abraham's situation.

He said: "I won't go into specifics on his situation. He played excellent in the prep matches, obviously he isn't happy about the second half of the season last year and has reasons not to be. Maybe it's my fault, I didn't have enough confidence in him, so I understand he wants more minutes"

Abraham has been one of the transfer market's hot topics in the past few weeks, having been repeatedly linked with a handful of clubs, most recently Mourinho's Roma, as the Italian club will be actively looking for a striker after it is reported they expect Bosnian target man Dzeko to leave for Inter after the nerazzurri saw Lukaku leave for Tuchel's Chelsea.
