Tottenham Hotspurs remain 'in pole position' for Takehiro Tomiyasu but could face competition from the likes of Leicester City and West Ham United, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Bologna have reportedly set their asking price at around £19.7million for the defender, but Fabio Paratici is 'insistent' on pushing through a move before the transfer window slams shut.

The Japanese international versatile defender has caught the eyes of many admirers in Italy and other countries since his arrival to Bologna from Sint-Truiden in 2019. He quickly established himself as one of the most promising defender in Serie A. So far, he has played in 63 games with Bologna, with 3 goals and 3 assists on his account.
