Lucas Torreira's departure from Arsenal appears to be on the horizon, as the midfielder has posted on his Instagram account that he is traveling to Italy.
Torreira went to the social media site to publish a story update that shows him staring out the window of a plane, accompanied by the plane, the Italian flag, and football emojis - the latter appears to imply that he isn't simply going to what is effectively his second nation after Uruguay.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina has agreed to recruit Torreira from Arsenal on an initial loan for €1.5 million as part of a deal that includes a €15 million permanent transfer option.
Di Marzio actually stated in this afternoon's post that medical exams will take place "within the next few hours" before Torreira signed the contract.
Torreira made his name in Italy as a teenager with Pescara and Sampdoria, so it appears to be the ideal spot for the now 25-year-old to relaunch his career.
