"To go to that next level with England was quite a surprise, but it was a huge thing for me and my family," Livramento said of his first call-up to the under-21s.
“It has obviously been a crazy couple of months but even though it is a big thing to be playing in the Premier League, at Southampton it has been easy to settle in because of everyone there and the coaches and playing staff.
“Getting the England call-up was even more of a massive thing for me. So I am trying to take everything in my stride and keep moving forward."
Livramento further on said: “Pulling on the England shirt means everything (to me).
“When you are young, you dream of doing things like this as a footballer and right now it (playing for England) is the biggest stage I can go to.
"I am proud that I am representing my family and myself."
