After having agreed the basical terms with both Torino, his current parent club, and his entourage, Southampton are about to sign 24-year old Brazilian centre-back Lyanco. Parting ways with Italian club after four seasons in, São Paulo alumni, already passing medical tests for Premier League side, is going to be transferred to Saints on a 7 million euros fee.
A player of a Serbian heritage, Lyanco carried on a mostly underwhelming four year-long tenure in Italian football. Playing for Bologna throughout 2018/19 second half, he was also linked to a move back into Felsinei ranks, besides having been approached by a further English club, namely Watford.
