English outfits, Sheffield United have reportedly opened talks with Man United over a season-long loan deal for Amad Diallo.

The Ivory Coast international is believed to spend the 2021-22 campaign away from Old Trafford to gain valuable first-team experience following the arrival of English winger, Jadon Sancho.

Basel and Crystal Palace have both been credited with an interest in Diallo, who provided one assist from four games for his country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

However, Football Insider now reports that Sheffield United have entered talks over a season-long loan and are hopeful of getting a contract over the line within the next couple of weeks.

The report claims that Man United are happy for Diallo to depart from the team on loan with his chances of regular first-team football this season very limited, and they are keen for the 19-year-old to play regularly somewhere else and keeping in England could be a priority for them.
