Manchester United are chasing Valentino Livramento to solve their right-back problems and bring in a fair contest for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The Norwegian manager has been impressed by the Southampton defender’s rise and remains interested in a move.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly been unhappy with Wan-Bissaka’s displays and contributions, and his dismissal with Young Boys seems to have infuriated the Red Devils coach. The Norwegian manager feels a lack of competition could be the problem, despite the presence of the Diogo Dalot.

Their target, Valentino, was a highly rated academy product from Chelsea. Livramento wanted to play regularly this campaign and moved to Southampton for £5m after realising chances won’t come easily at Chelsea.
