Kevin De Bruyne, the playmaker for Manchester City, has been nominated for another major individual award after being named a finalist for the UEFA Men's Player of the Year award on Thursday.

The three contenders for the coveted prize were announced by the European Football Federation, with Chelsea's Jorginho and N'Golo Kante joining De Bruyne on the list.

De Bruyne is coming off a fantastic season in which he was awarded PFA Player of the Year after helping Manchester City win the Premier League and reach the Champions League final in 2020-21. Meanwhile, the two Chelsea midfielders were key players in the Blues' Champions League victory in May.
