Premier League Trio to Appear on Celebrity Special Episode of Gogglebox

The England players Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jamie Vardy, and Daniel Sturridge are set to appear on a charity episode of the Channel 4 show Gogglebox to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

The "?Mirror report that the Three Lions trio will share their views on the popular TV shows Strictly Come Dancing, The Great British Bake Off, and The X Factor.

Unlike the regular cast members of the show, who are seen drinking booze and eating junk food, the Premier League stars appear sipping water and snacking on fruit, a decision possibly made because the players are seen as role models.

Leicester City striker Vardy said: "Being fans of the show ourselves; we can't wait to join the Gogglebox families and hope that together we can raise vital funds and awareness for Stand Up To Cancer."?

Arsenal midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain added, "With one in two of us developing cancer in our lifetime, it's so important for us to join together and do as much as we can.

"By being part of this Gogglebox special, we're delighted to help support this amazing cause so let's raise as much as we possibly can and really make a difference."?

However, it is back to business for the players this weekend, Oxlade-Chamberlain's Arsenal host Swansea City for their first game under Bob Bradley and Vardy's Leicester City travel to Chelsea.

The pick of the next round of Premier League fixtures involves Daniel Sturridge's Liverpool host fierce rivals Manchester United.
