The Premier League has announced an eight-player shortlist for its September Player of the Month award.

The nominees are Antoine Semenyo of Manchester City, Alexander Isak of Liverpool, Pascal Groß and Charalampos Kostoulas of Brighton, Jeremy Jacquet of Liverpool, Mohamed Belloumi of Hull City, Kevin Schade of Brentford and Jayden Bogle of Leeds.
The winner will be decided by a vote, with the result due to be announced on 28 September.

After five rounds of the league season, Manchester City lead the table. London club Arsenal are second, while Brighton complete the top three.
