Arsenal are monitoring Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso after the 26-year-old impressed the London club’s analysis team, according to HandofArsenal.
Scouts from the Premier League side are expected to continue assessing the Italy international to gain a detailed understanding of his abilities. However, Arsenal are not yet close to opening formal negotiations for the player.
Juventus currently have no plans to sell Cambiaso, meaning any potential move remains some way off. The Italian club are not looking to part with the wing-back despite his reported appeal to Arsenal.
Cambiaso has played in two matches for the Turin club this season before being ruled out with an injury. His market value is estimated at 15m euros by Transfermarkt.
