Manchester United have welcomed summer signing Jadon Sancho back to the training ground following his withdrawal from the England national team.

The 21-year-old attacker was originally ruled out of the Three Lions’ 4-0 victory in Hungary before departing the camp ahead of their win over Andorra by the same scoreline over the weekend.

Sancho’s issue was not believed to have been serious at the time, and the Red Devils have since posted a relief-inducing Tweet displaying the forward with the ball at his feet at Carrington.

The England international should therefore be in contention to face Premier League outfits, Newcastle United on Saturday, and he was joined in Tuesday’s training session by fellow new addition Cristiano Ronaldo who is preparing for the second spell at the club.

Sancho has only started one of the Red Devils three Premier League games so far this campaign, though, featuring for 72 minutes against Wolves last month.
