Everton have agreed the key aspects of a contract with Rafa Benitez, who looks set to be confirmed as the club’s new manager early next week.
The former Liverpool boss is expected to sign over the next few days - with the club provisionally planning to confirm his arrival on Tuesday.
The 61-year old will become the club’s fifth permanent manager in as many years, replacing Carlo Ancelotti who left for Real Madrid at the beginning on June.
