According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is signing defender Levi Colwill to a 4-year deal with the first team. Colwill, 18, played for U18 and U23 Chelsea teams the past two seasons and is now signing his first real professional contract.
Chelsea believes Colwill has great upside, and after signing him to the first team will likely loan him to a team where he can gain some experience.
Colwill played in 13 Premier League 2 games this past season.
