22-year-old Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo is nearing a move to Cercle Brugge in a €5 million (£4m/$6m) transfer - according to Goal.com correspondent Nizaar Kinsella. He has been involved in the Blues’ pre-season and it seems like he will not be involved in Tuchel’s plan for 2021/22. Personal terms between the player and the Belgian club has not been confirmed yet.
The Chelsea youth product spent last season on loan at Brugge and spent a remarkable season at the club with fantastic performances. He was also eyed by Belgian rivals Anderlecht and English clubs Fulham and Watford.
Two other Chelsea starlets in Trevoh Chalobah and Dujon Sterling are also set to leave the club on loan.
