According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa opened talks with Jack Grealish over a new and improved contract at the end of last week. Talks are ongoing.
Villa are adamant that they want to build a team around him, and their summer recruitment plans are based on players who will play with Grealish, as a key part of the team.
Manchester City, on the other side, plan to make a formal offer for Jack Grealish once the Euros have finished.
But Villa will not welcome any approach, and it’s understood they have received no bids for him so far.
