Manchester City crushed Norwich 5-0, with Jack Grealish scoring his first goal for the Premier League champions. Grealish scored a close-range goal in the first half to increase City's advantage after joining from Aston Villa for a British record of £100 million ($136 million).
Grealish had lost both of his previous games for City, dropping the Community Shield to Leicester and then stumbling in their Premier League debut.
However, Grealish's first goal since January demonstrated to Pep Guardiola's side that they can live without Harry Kane if their long-running chase of the Tottenham striker fails.
